I am extremely passionate about web design and take real pride in every site I design. My design philosophy is simple: all web sites should be accessible and appealing. Every site I design is coded by hand, validates to current standards developed by W3C and is viewable by every browser, at every resolution. I routinely optimize meta tags and page copy so that the site is easily found and indexed by search engne spiders. Every site I design is built from the ground up, reflecting the owner and his business; I don't do "cookie-cutter" sites. I consider each site not as just a job for a client, but as an opportunity for me to express my creativity and attention to detail. I am lucky enough to be acquainted with a group of talented individuals who are experts in the web design industry and I consult them on a per project basis.
I optimize every graphic, whether it's a scanned photo or a Photoshop image, to ensure that it doesn't slow the loading of the page. I am extremely proficient with CSS, HTML and javascript. I can set up guestbooks, forums and bulletin boards and I've aided several of my clients in setting up their e-mail programs.
I have taken many on-line classes in topics such as Flash, Photoshop, HTML, PHP, cascading style sheets, Java script, color coordination and website layout.
